Curriculum and
Programs

We are a multi-graded elementary school. Homerooms for students in grades
two through eight are composed of two grade levels. Students in these
classes have a homeroom-based teacher for reading and language arts, and
then travel during the day from teacher to teacher for math, science,
social studies, and religion. Our students take music, physical education,
and library classes; computer technology is integrated into our academic
classes. Our kindergarten and first grades are self-contained classes
where the foundations of our programs are established.
We provide opportunities for students to develop leadership skills through
our spirit assemblies, school family activities, yearbook, and Student
Council. Each homeroom is involved in planning a school liturgy. Our sixth
graders attend Camp Thunderbird, an outdoor school, for five days. Our
junior high students help the first graders with academics and activities.
Field trips and assemblies enrich our curriculum programs.
With our Respect and Responsibility Program for Discipline, we expect
students to respect others, their property, and school rules. We also
expect students to take responsibility for their actions. We emphasize
Gospel values, reconciliation, and following Jesus, the model for our
students, faculty, and school.
