The St. Vincent de Paul student is:
A Faithful Catholic who:

V Demonstrates an ability to use tools of the faith (Rel 3,10)
V Demonstrates knowledge of the Catholic faith, traditions, and teachings (Rel 1-10)
V Participates in school liturgical and sacramental celebrations (Rel 6,7)
V Demonstrates through actions that he/she lives out the Gospel values and Catholic
   Social Teachings in his/her daily life (Rel 5,8,9)
V Is confident to share and defend Catholic beliefs (Rel 5,8,9)

A Life-Long Learner who:

V Has a solid understanding of all academic areas (All curriculum areas)
V Communicates effectively in listening, writing, and speaking (LA/Communication –
   all levels)
V Is a proficient reader (LA/Reading – all levels)
V Uses technology as a tool for learning and communication (Technology)
V Is exposed to and participates in the arts (All levels)
V Sets, plans, and achieves goals by using study, time management, and organizational
   skills (No formal Archdiocesan guidelines, but included in local guidelines)
 

An Active Community Member in a Global Society who:

V Demonstrates respect for self, others, and all of God’s creation (Rel 3)
V Demonstrates a sense of community with respect for individual differences (Rel 5)
V Demonstrates responsibility for actions and choices (Rel 3,9)
V Works respectfully and effectively in a group (LA/Communication 3)
V Participates in service (Rel 8)
V Demonstrates knowledge of current events and their effects on the world (Soc St all
   levels 5-8)
