Funds donated to the Technology Fund provide funding so we can upgrade hardware and software on a more regular basis. It also allows us to bring more technology in the classroom and increase student access to technology. As technology changes, it will make it possible for us to adapt to these changes and bring newer technology into the classrooms. The money for this fund comes from individual donations to the fund and a per family Technology Fee ($25) that has been included in the tuition since 2005-2006.
Wish list:
• more wireless access to the internet for students in the classrooms
• wireless cart that will accommodate 25-30 laptops for use in a classroom
• Mobis – a tablet device that when used with a computer, projector, and white board allows the teacher and students to control the teacher’s computer from any point in the classroom transforming the white board into an interactive board.
